I think every hair stylist needs to state their primary forte and keep in mind the other stylist whos forte IS NOT your most experienced area.... So that way when youre asked to provide a service you have someone that you can recommend...... that way everyone is happy and pleasant as possible and you keep a consistent flow of good attitudes instead of attempting services that you know you are not fully competent and confident in......... that leads to complaints ,confusion upsets and then having people like me to correct it.... All of us licensed or not can learn from each other and that does not mean that because you teach me the way you do it thats the same way that Im going to do it----- so kill this misconception that someone is going to Take anything from you..... ALSO Its been brought to my attention that everyone does not necessarily agree with my blunt and straightforward approach of being informal yet highly effective but at the end of the day......... Its not that I dont care------ it just dont matter Ive been in the game long enough to know what works for me and KNOW that its not purposed for me to please or service EVERYBODY..... Who and what for me will be... And Ill see you when you book your appointment ....Thanks and Youre welcome.... in advance;) . We have to be honest in this industry...... telling you everything that you want to hear..... Instead of speaking the truth of what you need to know..... wont help your hair grow.... If thats not whats best for your hair at the time I try to be as open as possible so that we are on the same page at all times . So that I get it right the first time ... And if by chance there are those days that Im slipping...... I can and will hold my position, and be Man Enough to admit and correct my error....... But that rarely happens because if I dont like doing something I will tell you and refer you to the next person because I dont have to nor will I ever try to make all the coins ----- my attitude just is not set up to deal with everybody and I will tell you that!!!!!.... .....
