I think everyone dreams of the place where everyone knows your name! Martinez Elem is my second home. I love the school, the staff and the kids like a family. So many fun times and great people that not only became my friends but loved and taught my kids about life and learning. The great Kindergarten teachers of MES are Sarah Connors, Shirley Crandall Short, Shannon Kopp Garcia, Christina Crain Leedom and their aides DeeDee Ghinaudo, Catherine Pacheco ODriscoll and Tina Owens Dale. These fabulous ladies create and atmosphere of love and learning not no other school. The Zoo trips were wonderful and Shirley the love you showed lil Q impacted me like you will never know. Carrie Coddington Rains who protected my son from racism and hate. Annie Michalak-Weaver she loved my lil Aaliyah and understood her so well. Heidi Yates Baker saw something special in my shy boy and nurtured him when others might have forgotten him. Marcie Eichmann...man you had your work cut out for you but I hope you know my lil man learned so much from you. Linda Rodgers...he will never forget you or the love that class has for you. As I drive by the school I see those heroes..aka crossing guards! Lisa M. Trujillo, Sherri Mestas, Tina Dale and Laurie Riner man that job sucked! Almost getting hit, flipped off, and honked at by terrible drivers. The highlight was watching a speeder get a ticket! I salute you my fellow sister in mercy and grace! Their are so many special people at MES! Nancy Radkie we will never forget Daisy! Vicki Ohlander Rheinlander and Julie Miller Overturf truly sweet ladies that bring so much light to the school. Dawn OLeary Petty thanks for sharing your Dad with us and making the Library a fabulous escape. Gabriele Cox and Shirley Ile there really arent words....
