I think free-will is awesome. I use it to brush my teeth. I couldnt go anywhere without it these days. I dont think I would wear any clothes without free-will or drive a steering wheel with free-will. You cant watch movies, kiss your wife, hug your kids without free-will. You cant love God without free-will. But free-will doesnt work as good without a good head on your shoulders. You know, wisdom. Wisdom comes from reading your Bible and seeking its guidance in prayer. It also comes from life lessons, mentors, good friends, seasons of life. Now this is crazy right? But I heard that godly wisdom and good sense comes ultimately from God. Because you got to start somewhere right? And ALL good gifts come from God right? And if you have the wisdom to know you need more of it, you can ask God for some more too. So free-will is like a remote control without batteries if you dont have the sense to use it right. God give us some of that old fashioned wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him business. We dont need more free-will to be good for God, we need more discerning, wisdom. Free-will cant help you if you dont think right. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God (2 Corinthians 3:4).
