I think i hate the term Gamer Girl just for the sheer fact that the internet has turned it into a joke that really gives a bad image at girl gamers. Really, just saw a post in one of my groups that was attacking gamer girls who play COD (which I am not even a fan of COD but still), but what about the poser gamers who only play COD who are guys? So they are more real gamers than the gamer girls who only play COD? Great example of Misogyny in gaming people. And yes, I do realize they were talking about the stereotype that is shown in the meme...but it still is giving a bad name to girl gamers because of how they approach bashing every female nerd/geek/gamer out there putting them in the Poser catagory /Rant.
