I think, in my humble and limited opinion of the world and life in general, that the most important things in life include: doing what you are good at (and semi-enjoy), having a place to go to every day (thats near your house), having faith, good health (still working on it), having a boyfriend who can become one of your best friends (but not the ONLY best friend in life) and having a community of friends and mentors that you have learned to trust over the years. Ive also reflected on the past decade and Ive come to conclude that if they are still friends with me after all that, wow... I applaud you all. Also, I think it helps when you have enough in your bank account to do the hobbies that you enjoy, travel once in a while to visit your friends overseas (its really nice to have such successful friends, I tell you) and pamper yourself from time to time by giving yourself a nice mani-pedi and a nice brunch on your day off. Often, you think that you have to chase the world to get all that glitters but you realize that at the age of 28, no -- Im not going to chase the world anymore. Im going to create my own comfortable world right here and the world can come visit from time to time, if theyd like.
