I think it is in order to demand that cyclists have an identifier on their bikes to make them culpable for their un-roadworthy behaviour. Why has the government not cashed in on this? A revenue from a group in society who A. Use our road network. B. Create pollution by forcing vehicles to trail behind them for long distances at uneconomical speeds. C. Have no reason to be responsible for their behaviour - a freebie for the government in my eyes. And, if they say it would be too expensive to enforce, just give us fed up road users free rein to take out those without required identification - simples! I have just followed an awful cyclist from Hordle to New Milton with the car behind me honking its horn through impatience. The cyclist then, when I eventually found a safe place to overtake him, looked round and gobbed on my windscreen! He is lucky to be alive! #governmentpolicy #hatecyclists
