I think it is time to rant about a few things this holiday season since Ive been choked with it since Oct. 31st rolled over to Nov. 1st. The main one is this: it might just be the tired in me talking but people that offended over the word Christmas like its something actually triggering to them are rather thin skinned and need to stop trying to invent privileges for themselves. Just because its cool in 2013 to be offended just like how in 2012 it was cool to sue for any reason you could make up doesnt mean that it is. Do I celebrate Christmas? Kind of. I call it a day to give gifts to loved ones and spent time with them out of selflessness and personal enjoyment. Do I celebrate it for Christ? No and I dont get all uppity and offended by hearing the word like a demon from Supernatural hearing Christo. I am just another normal atheist wasting time playing with science and her mystical wonders rather than pondering the existence of a man in the sky (and his sidekicks) that can micro-manage your day-to-day life like The Sims. A legitimate question in all of this: If God micro-manages your life like The Sims... then does he regularly interfere? Because if so, that would be rather tedious. Managing 8 people is hard enough.
