I think it was about 1989, there was going to be a big Country Music Event at Six Flags over Texas. Several top stars at the time were scheduled to perform. It was sponsored by KSCS or KPLX an FM radio station here in Dallas & it was an outdoor event. As spring-weather down here in Texas is very unpredictable there were some horrendous thunder showers & it was-going to be called off. But Mr. Charlie Daniels wasnt about to leave the fans.
