I think it would be a great episode of the #_TheXFiles_ to just have an hour of Mulder, lit from above in a small, dark room, looking all disheveled and soaked and holding his gun with high contrast yelling SCULLY!!?? and then it would cut to Scully running down a hallway yelling MULDER!!! And just go back & forth. FOR AN HOUR. All manner of camera angles. Back and forth. Pull out every visual & compositional trick n the book. SCULLY!!?? MULDER!!! And it ends with Scully kicking down the door. And they both point their guns at each other. DRAMATIC STANDOFF And then they realize who each other is. And they just sorta slump their shoulders as if to say F*****CK And then Scully says, Cmon, lets go. And they leave the room And SCENE. Best. X-files. EVAR.
