I think its about time to have a conversation about my love for CrossFit... Some serious reasons why I love CrossFit: 1) I am strong 2) I am humble, but love PRing! 3) I am always in the company of a remarkable group of men and women who inspire me every day. I race the clock with a 47 year old woman with 6 kids and a hip replacement, I lift with former cheerleaders (no offense, haha) who out lift me. I workout with pregnant women and new moms, moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas. I am in the company of doctors, nurses, educators, hairdressers, nutritionists, fitness professionals, students, bloggers, and athletes among other professionals. 4) I learn something new every WOD 5) There are no judgements in CrossFit (unless you eat pizza). Some not-so-serious reasons why I love CrossFit: 1) Its completely acceptable to PR your outfit every day (#lululemon, #joblove). 2) My Facebook friends list has increased by 20%! 3) Booty shorts are completely acceptable and no one judges you for wearing them! 4) Speaking of booty... Have u seen mine lately!? More booty for my hubby to grab and more booty to shake in Zumba! 5) Bacon. 6) Most of the CrossFitters at my box are women. 7) No one takes selfies at the box, but everyones profile pic is of them CrossFitting. 8) Its completely acceptable to get after your snatch in public. 9) Grunting, squeaking, squealing, yelling, screaming, and crying during a WOD is normal and respected. Being a weeny however, is not.
