I think its almost impossible to write a bunch of words that are supposed to concisely sum up my leaving party yesterday. So here are some adjectives: emotional, heartwrenching, incredible, epic, tearful, loving, surprising, humbling, musical, uplifting... etc etc etc! Its such a strange feeling to be both overjoyed and deeply sad at the same time. I didnt expect such an amazing turnout, and to have friends travel from so far to spend the day with me was so touching. I have so many people to thank who all helped make the day unforgettable, too many in fact, but a couple of very special thank yous at this point to be mentioned here. Bill...I cant thank you enough for opening your lovely pub and garden to my friends and I, and for providing all the yummy food. You sir, are a true gent! Mike and Kellie for helping so much with the day and setting up and packing down (and singing!). My lovely Emma for her support and for bringing her great band! Ben for kindly lending me his awesome p.a, and Tom for letting me borrow his drum kit! Id like to put out a very special thank you to Tracy and her beautiful family for taking the time to come down. It was so good to see you and have you there as part of the day. All the musicians!!! The quality was unbelievable and its so sad to know what Im leaving behind! And all the people who came to share the day.... Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I still have so many people to thank....I will get to you in good time :) with much love I will miss you all XXX
