I think its time everybody stops fighting and just accepts the fact that NY student needs to adapt to the Common Core. Most states have already fully instituted it, some have incorporated only parts, and some have rejected it. I dont know about you but if my kids had a chance to learn at a higher standard, Id rather they are put in a situation to learn more rather than less. Theres a reason our country is behind on the educational curve, and its the mindless objection towards more difficult learning. Fundamental knowledge has changed over the years and its time we stop clinging onto ancient knowledge and stop rejecting intellectual advancement.
