I think its time to rid the city streets of the dilapidated jeepneys most of which cannot even identify its age any longer and relocate their franchises to the provinces only. And while at it, to limit all tricycles to Tertiary roads. Public utility vehicles (buses and taxis) for the safety of the riding public should be limited to no more than 7 to 8 years old. Government should step up to the plate and roll out a long term and sustainable plan for public utility be it outsourced to the private sector with true regulation to boot. Keeping mum on these issues is what Abaya is good at, forever studying and never being pro-active.
