I think its totally freakin awesome seeing Gypsy Cyn here. Of all the Jeremy Brett Holmes tributes on Youtube, my absolute favorite of all of them is this one, which is one of her musical edits. She is the biggest source of Jeremy Bretts early career performances on Youtube and has done an immeasurable service to his memory. (And, of course, the only version of Lehars The Merry Widow I can find online is hosted by her on Youtube, which was the absolute pinnacle of Jeremy Bretts musical career. Its a shame that the only known full version is in such condition, which inspires me to consider petitioning other longtime BBC affiliates worldwide to consider checking their vaults. The lost Patrick Troughton episodes of Doctor Who were in the vaults of a BBC affiliate in Africa, and I KNOW that a beautifully preserved video of the Merry Widow 1968 Christmas broadcast must be haunting a vault SOMEWHERE seeking the loving light of day!)
