I think most members of this group understand at least the general outline of what is going on in Ukraine, but analyst Christoff Lehmann adds depth to the picture in this article from nsnbc. Of particular interest, he refers to the 2010 US Special Forces training circular TC-10-01 that outlines a shift in the Empires global war of terror from conventional to unconventional warfare. He points out that Libya signaled a shift in using US and NATO troops to advance corporate Empire to the use of Islamist terrorists and that this was merely a cruder from of what is happening in Ukraine, where neo-Nazi storm troops are doing the job. It also details the history of the training and operations of the NATO stay-behind troops trained during the declared Cold War, which has in fact never ended. This program is often referred to as Operation Gladio, which is the name given to the Italian part of the operation. Gladio was apparently responsible for the coup that took down Greeces post war communist government, among many other actions, including a likely role in Turkey. As with the Islamists who serve as mercenaries in their proxy wars in the Mideast and elsewhere in the former USSR, the plan is to pull out support for them when it is no longer useful and to try to control the puppet government they hope to install. Unless they are insane enough to think they can control the situation in Ukraine any better than they have controlled events in Libya and Syria, they are willing to deal with the chaos they have created in the belief that it somehow furthers their goal of promoting a permanent fascist New World Order in which only the Anglo-American corporate Empire has any control over what is left of civilization.
