I think my dog is neurotic or will be making me neurotic with his odd behaviour! He is an 8 year old Bichon/Shiztu and he seems to become obsessed with his one particular paw whenever he is not getting attention. For example, he will be sitting with me when my husband comes home from work, we start talking about our day and the dog will jump down, go into the bedroom, start licking, biting at his paw while barking like he is crazy and going in circles. He does this when I go into the kitchen to start supper, he does it if hes left alone in a room. I have thought that it was perhaps an attention getter or an anxiety issue but Im at a loss as to how to break him of this behaviour. We have had him for 5 years, there are no other pets and no children and he is walked every day even if it is too cold outside he walks on the treadmill. I would just love to figure this out!
