I think my family is relatively normal in some aspects. we dont go to church every Sunday but we do manage to make it several times a year and our 10 year old daughter goes to vacation Bible school just about every summer if not for the Jesus teachings at least have something constructive to do during the summer months. with the holidays coming up Christmas and Santa and all these things come into our discussion sometimes. recently my daughter looked up in a very serious voice and informs me that me and mom dont have to put on the act this year that she knows who Santa really is... Uh oh... I knew it was coming but I didnt know it would be this soon. doing my best to keep a straight face I ask her Well, Baby, who is it? with 100 percent seriousness she answered, Its Jesus. I admit I completely busted out laughing. well now I know how much attention she pays in vacation Bible school and in church. I think in order to do Santa one more Christmas I will just let her keep believing that. :-)
