I think one day I will write a book on "Things I wish I taught my children." Things like ...."I do not know as much as I want you to think I do." "When I scream I am usually very scared you are going to get hurt." "When parents are stressed they are short on patience." I could go on and on. Parenting is a hard job. I can tell Tara my 7 year old, that I do not know easier than I could tell Kathy and Ashley. I am sure my age, education and experience helps me realize I do not have to be perfect as a parent and grandparent. The greatest message we can give anyone is a message of love. I do not think you can tell your children or family members too many times you love them. If you have trouble saying that, you can always write it as a note.
