I think one of the major issues when it comes to defining human rights violations is that the world seems to perceive Israeli civilians as being more human than Palestinian civilians. Watching the Al-Jazeera interview with the UN Human Rights Chief Navi Pillay this became clear, while she does call Israel out on their human rights violations, she chooses to describe the bomb shelters in Israel and how Israeli children are forced to play inside, but she doesnt go into the details on how Palestinian children in Gaza are being forced to live, or rather die. Imagine how horrible it must be for your children to have to play safely... indoors...where you can see them, hug them, love them, and make sure they are safe. Palestinians are not afforded those privileges, they are finding their children massacred under the ruins of what used to be their homes, children are being left orphaned, and parents left childless, but by all means lets say that Israel and Hamas both have human rights violations and make it sound as though they are equally at fault. While I do not ever support the targeting of a civilian population, can you please just for a second get your politically correct mind out of the gutter and put yourself in the shoes of Gazans. Your civilian population is being attacked and massacred in their homes, in schools, hospitals, streets and everywhere that was once safe, your people are being hunted like animals, and the world is too busy trying not to offend Israel to point the finger at them and demand that they be brought to justice. Palestinians have the right to defend themselves against the terrorist state of Israel, that is never questionable, it is always true, you do not get to beat the shit out of a person multiple times, and then when they get up to fight back you shoot them in the head, and claim that YOU were defending yourself, and the worst part is, the world looks at the situation and goes oh, yea, I guess Israel was defending itself. It is times like these that I envy the ignorant, because they are blissfully unaware of all the horrors in the world, I wish I believed Israel was innocent, I would then at least be able to sleep at night. #IsraelIsAWarCriminal #GazaUnderAttack #WeAreAllGaza
