I think our state law makers need to revisit the handicap parking situation. As I sat in our car at the Walmart while husband went for medications after just getting out of hospital, this couple with no problem walks up to their truck, gets in and drives past me looking at me as if I was abusing the handicap parking. I should have gotten a license number but I was too ill. I have seen where people die and relatives use the tag. There are no surrender laws to it. Doctors are just signing forms if people have a sore thumb. I have broken many many bones, have had a failed heart and I feel guilty parking there but these people had their nerve.
