I think people sometimes misunderstand what the point of reviewing something is. Yes, its obviously to say whether or not people should go see it, but theres also a more subtle reason why. Assuming that the reviewer is someone thats truly passionate about the involved industry and isnt on someones payroll *coughcoughKotakucough*, one of the reason that we makes our reviews is so that we can convince people whether or not a given work is something that benefits the industry. If we give a positive review, it says Please give us more of that for these reason I just listed, and if we give a negative review, is says Please stop making that for these reasons. ~Ember
