I think religious people have much more of a right to say no to the welfare State than most people who listen to philosophy or libertarians or whatever because theyre actually doing the kind of generosity that they say will replace the welfare state. So a lot of people who are into capitalism, the free market and so on arent particularly generous towards those in need while saying that dont worry, private charity will take care of the needy. - Molyneux.
