I think sometimes God allows thongs to happen in life to strengthen and give us remembrances to soften our hearts. When we look back even on yesterday we are not the same today, much less if you look back 5 years ago or more. Looking back I can say there are some people I. Never thought Id be able to forgive that today I realized were forgiven long ago. The opposite is true in that Im sure there are those whom Ive hurt that Ive never asked their forgiveness. Lord give me an opportunity to pass this on to those who need the chains we lock ourselves down with through being unforgiving broken.
