I think that everyone has had that moment when a stranger says to them, Hey, you know who you look like?, and I get that question fairly often. Usually Im prepared for what comes next. I run through the list of everyone Ive ever been said to have a resemblance to inside my mind; John Cusack, Russel Crowe, Gerard Butler, Colin Farrell, Everlast, Bono, Glen Danzig, Hugh Jackman, Robert De Niro, Paul Rudd, and the rare but occasional Ron Jeremy. I typically expect any of these answers to follow the persons question, but sometimes I get one answer that I dont expect; Satan. Really? Satan? Of all the most common replies that people give me to their own unsolicited question, Satan is their answer? How the hell do so many people know what Satan looks like? and more importantly, how the hell are they so comfortable telling a stranger that they look like Satan? One of these day someone is going to say, Hey! You know who you look like? and their reply is going to be, Jay Griffin! because one of these day everyone is going to know who I am, and it isnt Satan, dammit.
