I think that its fantastic that people are so enthused by nostalgia and make an effort to get together and enjoy the common interest that they all share but, I am also saddened by the fact that there isnt so much enthusiasm to get together and do something about our government who, is destroying our NHS. They tried this week (and failed) to enshrine in law the giving away of billions in foreign aid. Whilst I am in agreement with charitable actions I am also a believer in charity begins at home. Soon, our NHS will disappear only to be replaced by an American system of, if you cant afford it then, sorry....there is no need for the NHS to go this way, we just have to get our priorities in the right order, and giving away billions shouldnt be top of the list, the NHS and services that the elderly that fought in world wars for and paid into the system should be at the top of the list.
