I think that one of the confusing misnomers is Muslim Extremism. These are not extremists, these are ACTIVE true believers. While most Muslims are passive true believers, who agree with the jihadists and in one way or another support them and would not think of reporting those in their midst to non believer authorities. There are many Islamic sects, and in some cases there is violent struggle between them, we see Saudis fighting Isis, because they feel threatened by their sect. However, there is no “reform” Islamic faith, reconstructing its commands to meet Western ideology and democratic principles. Also, like among Christians and Jews, there are Muslim sinners, Muslims in name only and ethnic Muslim,s who do not abide by some or any of the Islamic Commandments. Moreover, there are those who, practicing Islamic stealth war, hide their true beliefs and even make outward expressions of disgust at jihadist terrorism. They do this with the express intent to confuse the non believers into the idea that “we’re not all like that, Islam is a religion of Peace.” The fact is that they are all like that, some are active, some are passive, some are stealth and some are in name only.
