I think that we need more police presence in every neighborhood.... Certain patrol routes everynight.... The only time I see an officer on my street is if somebody calls one... Maybe more of a presence would deter some of this nonsense....And at what point do these teens who are recidivist to the jail system be held more accountable....At what point when a minor continues to frequent the detention center do their parents become accountable?... Lets not just focus on attacking the City Council... Or Police Department.... Lets work with them and try to help put an end to this disgusting culture of behavior in which is starting to cultivate more by the day.... Lets also reach out to some of this parents if they ask for help and try to get them the help they need to cope.... Some kids are just bad and some are made that way by parents just throwing their hands in the air when they feel lost.
