I think the battery in my JEEP is still defective, I think its the battery but Im not certain. (no I have not tried another battery or a jumps start, yet) Ive been keeping the battery on a charger/maintainer for 2 straight nights, when I check the charger in the morning the indicator is green, meaning the battery is full and the charger is maintaining that charge. The moment I go to start the engine, the battery seems as though its dead. once that happens I put the charger in the 50 amp start mode and the engine barely turns over. Im pretty sure this is a dead battery that keeps showing as good. I checked the alternator and its charging just fine. Im certain that if the JEEP starts with a jump start that will indicate a bad battery? Its got me stupified because Ive never seen a bad battery test good? Any ideas? Im at a loss! If I buy and install a new battery in this jeep only to find out its something else, Im going to be upset.
