I think the biggest disconnect between free market advocates and everyone else is that the vast majority seems to forget how enslaved businesses are to their customers. If the consumer asks them to jump, they ask, How high? Businesses move mountains to satisfy us, but we often have unrealistic demands. We want the mountain out of the way, but still want to see its beautiful features. If some entrepreneur says, Such a thing is possible...but youll have to pay me, this is no time to call your friend with a gun (the government) and punish the entrepreneur for his suggestion. What will that accomplish? Government imposed Net Neutrality accomplishes nothing but hindering entrepreneurs from giving you your dream.
