I think the fb ability to "unfriend" or block others makes it too - TopicsExpress

I think the fb ability to "unfriend" or block others makes it too easy to avoid practicing mercy, forgiveness, and reconcilliation. I know personally, I have blocked people just for the convenience of not having to remember who I have taken issue with, thereby precluding the possibility of forgetting and "friending" them again! And of course if you do that, it also makes it impossible for the other offended party to make amends by apologizing and asking for forgiveness if they desire. I do believe with this social medium, there are definately legitimate reasons for using those features, but I know for myself, I find that I often use them more quickly or impulsively then I probably should, which derails me from doing what is right from a Biblical perspective, or allowing others to do so. Not trying to create a debate; just thinking out loud I guess.
