I think the majority of us have alienated ourselves from change; we tediously arrange our lives into a familiar pattern, we give ourselves to normalcy, we are proud if we are able to follow in auspicious footsteps set before us, we take pride in always coloring inside the lines & we feel secure if we belong to a batch of others who are like us. Now, if familiar patterns bore us, if normalcy passes before us unnoticed, if we want to create our own footsteps in this earth & leave our own handprints on the skies, if we are the ones who dont mind the lines in the coloring book as much as others do, & perchance we do not cling to a flock for us to identify ourselves with, then we must be ready for adversity. If we are something extraordinary, we are going to always shock others & while we go about existing in our mundaneness which we call successes, were going to be flying around crazy in the skies scaring people. People are afraid of change, afraid of being different, afraid of doing things & thinking things that arent a part of our checkerboard games of a life. We only know the pieces & the moves in our games, & thats it. We are always going to find people in the places that we think were going to find them in, & every time these sorts of people think about us were going to give them heart attacks.
