I think the most powerful words that we can hear from anyone when we think we are alone in this struggle is Me Too or Im a survivor. I was looking for an extra job to help cover for some of the finances in my org and I met this woman who was interviewing me and asked me why I wanted a job and I explained I had my own organization and funding and donations are low so I needed to cover for the organizational expenses. When I told her about our mission. I saw her eyes opened wide. She said Im a survivor and I told her I am too. Her eyes were teary and I knew some how God had placed me there for a reason. I handed her my book and of course I got the job. Survivors feel relieved when they know that they are not alone. Always know that you are Not Alone!
