I think the one thing that creates change in my body the most is having an open mind about trying different fitness formats. For a long time I was convinced that cardio was going to give me the long and lean body I wanted so I automatically labeled weights as something I didnt like. Part of that was probably me being scared of the unknown. I didnt really know what to do with a weight! When I got over myself and my fear, I actually found that I like weights a whole lot more than I thought. ;) I did the same thing for yoga, Pilates and piyo... I excluded them because they were slow and I didnt know how something that didnt get my sweat on was going to change my body... But I was SO wrong! The slow and controlled movements forced me to use my core In ways I never have before to create balance and I was using stabilizer muscles I didnt know I had. >> I saw changes!
