I think there is a bit of confusion that perhaps needs clearing up. There are absolutely no plans for any changes to our Coolangatta and Woolloongabba stores because of the opening of the new Robina Town Centre store. The Robina Town Centre store, for now, replaces our original store at James Street, Burleigh Heads, that we opened well over 10 years ago. Unfortunately, due to many factors, it was not viable to continue to trade at Burleigh so we decided it needed to close. Some time after that good business yet heart wrenching decision was made, an opportunity arose for us to try our store concept within Robina Town Centre and after careful consideration, we decided to take the opportunity to see how That Shop would be received within a major shopping centre, a location in total contrast to the small, unique, quirky, destination locations we usually choose for our stores. It is early days yet, but so far so good. We are receiving the same love at the new store, as we do at our destination stores. Thank you! Will we change our style because we are within the walls of a shopping centre? No. You will find the same smiling faces(as many of my staff rotate their shifts between all the stores), the same warm welcome, the same customer service and the same uniqueness you have come to know, love and rightfully expect. Our fabulously loyal, regular customers that visited on the weekend to help us celebrate the new store will attest to that I am sure. I appreciate your support of our business. Karen x
