I think there was a problem with Indy during Peytons years but, I think it more likely it was an institutional problem, and that means an ownership problem. The year the Colts lost to the Saints, in the 14th game of the season after going 13-0, when they pulled Peyton and the other starters out thereby taking away any chance of them having a perfect season, I was sitting at a friends house watching the game, and the very first words out of my mouth were They just lost the Superbowl. Irsay knows how to hire good coaches and good players, but he clearly does not understand human beings, and he certainly doesnt understand what motivates people or the psychological consequences of taking from his players a once in a generation opportunity.
