I think this article is interesting. Our family likes to write, and we will share what we write, sometimes willingly, and sometimes not so willingly. When you are family though, does it matter? It is like a blood harmony; singing with your mother, brother, or sister. It can be a different voice with the same intention. You can have the same thought, or idea and not even have to articulate it. Rose obviously wanted her mother to have the credit. After all it was Lauras life, wasnt it.
