Sir Winston Churchill~ If you had one scintilla* of doubt surrounding the tragic events that have occurred for Shamus Haws Horsemanship, the Haws family, and Running U Livestock, I can guarantee you will never look back, once you have seen this amazing video. It is a candid peek into the huge heart of Shamus Haws. For those of you that know me...you know Im a wordsmith, lover of fine quotes and a budding writer. I use a dictionary and a thesaurus daily. I have never used the word scintilla, but I assure you it was a perfect fit for the thought I am trying to convey. Scintilla: noun, a tiny or scarcely detectable amount~ a sparkling glittering particle~ *a body having finite mass and internal structure but negligible dimensions~ There are those who believe Shamus Haws has no right to participate in the 2015 Year of the Horse competition. He E A R N E D a right to be there. Those living in glass houses should be ever careful of shattering glass overhead when the first shard of gossip is thrown. Powers far greater than our own will decide his fate in the wake of this tragedy. At some point, there must come redemption. We are not fit to judge his plight. I was blessed on Buckaroo Traditions to receive posts from both Trever and Jeffery Whitlock, the videographer. He taught me most everything that I know about horses. He also taught me life lessons that I will never forget. He sure is a great example to me. I cant thank him enough for what he has done.
