I think we all take the expression count your blessings for granted. TODAY, I AM COUNTING MY BLESSINGS This morning I feel that I was truly protected by angels. As hokie as that sounds, I dont understand how I am sitting here right now. I was on Southern Blvd. coming to a stop at the light at Crestwood/Forest Hill, out the corner of my eye I saw a truck flying towards me at great speed. It happened super fast, but I know I braced my body for the impact as it actually hurts me right now. A miracle occurred, and I truly do not understand how...I am completely baffled. The speeding truck impacted the first car within centimeters of my drivers door, then kept flying hitting the car inches in front of my truck, then pushed another few cars into each other and then hit one or two more cars before stopping. I believe that something must have happened to the driver of the truck as it doesnt appear he ever hit the brakes. The impacts and flying glass were so loud around me and I watched it all unfold in slow motion. In the end I believe there was approximately 5 or 6 cars involved and three major injuries taken away in ambulances. I am still shaking two hours later and just dont understand how I wasnt hit, or how myself or my truck does not have a scratch at all. Thank you God for sparing me and having me here to hug my husband and children when they get home later. I am very Blessed. I encourage everyone to count your blessings today.
