I think we are slowly coming to the decision to paint the floors in my studio and lay down crawl space insulation rather than try to refinish or install new flooring to make it look nicer and decrease the cold air problem :/ Why? They are super scratched up thanks to the dog and I cant stand the amount of PS I have to do to clear it up. With white paint at least it will be easy to retouch, lol. Also I decided on doing white walls, white trim. Keeping it clean and simple. I always kind of wanted a white room with white painted floors ^_^ Nows my chance! Also, painting is CRAZY inexpensive. It takes time (Time I have), but man. Its going to cost less than $100 including primer and poly top coat. This room is pretty good sized. New laminate flooring will be 1000+ and I am much more comfortable with painting than I am laying floor.
