I think we should let the children from Honduras, El Salvador, and Mexico stay as long as we allow Haitians and Kongolese, and Sudanese Woman and children the same privilege. Since we are talking about poilitical asylum, and how dangerous it is to live in some hot spots on the planet, then I think Haiti, Sudan, Kongo, and Chicago qualify like Honduras and El Salvador, yes, Immigration Activist friends, you agree? We are talking about not making this an issue that divides Blacks and Browns but whenever Black immigrants issues are on the table I dont hear nothing but silence from so-called immigration activists... Never heard from immigration activists when Haitian bodies were washing up on the shores of South Beach, but they hollered loud and hearty for Elian Gonzalez, bless his soul. Immigration Activists sometimes remind me of White folks when they start talking about African American activsts are divisive in a nation that has always been divided, largely because white folks wanted it that way.. Duh, immigration activsts we are already divided on this issue, and thats something you are too afraid to address. You know that you have been silent on the Haitian immigrant issue, you know that in the Dominican Republic right now, Haitians are being returned to Haiti, and you are quiet as a church mouse about it. Dr. King, quoting Dante, said, the hottest places in hell are reserved for those who put it in neutral during times of great moral crisis. You arent trying to tear down no White supremacy with your double standard approach to this problem, you are successfully upholding it!
