I think what we have all learned is that it is better to dig deep as opposed to just wrapping ourselves up in blanket assertions. . . To ask what law/ordinance/contractual provision says what the speaker claims it says. . . To refuse to take anyones ipse dixit (I.e, because I said so . . . ). And, instead, demand the documents, laws, authority that supposedly supports the asserted position & then actually pull them up yourself and read them to make sure they really say (or dont say) what it has been claimed to say. Come on folks. Our kids are doing their homework. We need to do ours.
