I thought De Gea was the best keeper in the EPL, I think hes actually the best player. People will be asking (with reason) how is United playing this poorly and winning that many games? They have a world class keeper and they take their chances is the answer. What Van Gaal has done well is to give confidence to players who can have an important role (Valencia, Young, Fellaini) and to field killers. You dont need to create that many chances when you have RVP, Rooney and Mata on the pitch. Not enough long term but Ill take it short term. Rodgers (and his bosses) have to remain patient with this team. They miss Sturridge terribly, he wouldve beaten us. I have to say: Ive always defended Steven Gerrard but he was a non-factor today. Hes had his ups and downs but for a guy like him to be a non-factor is a worrying sign, they needed him today, they have very little precision in midfield. Suarez used to drop back and make things easier, hes not there anymore and Henderson misses him. As for their defense, Lovren and Sakho are Rodgers big mistakes. They have no defense. But they will rise if they stick with their manager and so will we. Glory Glory Man United.
