I thought I am done crying two Fridays ago but as I am watching the ladies leaving the SSK6 camp segment, my tears wouldn’t stop falling again. It just took less 1 min of the show’s 2-hours airtime, but for me, it broke my heart once again to see them leaving the camp. I really don’t know what some of the judges were thinking, for me all of MICA’s performances are perfect beyond words. Learning the new song is hard, learning a new language is harder. MICA may sing in different languages, (such as Korean, Japanese, French, German, etc) but you can hear and feel their hearts in their songs and performances. I am not an expert on the musical technicalities, but their performance on SSK6 always moved me. As an ordinary fan, I listen with my heart. Their performances always have these invisible hands, trying to reach out for you, and you get to feel their sincerity, passion, hard-work, determination, their innermost dreams. For me, they showed the true meaning of being an artist -- flexibility, versatility, ingenuity, their being dynamics, they evolve in every episodes of SSK6, from singing with dancing, ballads, rap, RnB, musical, you named it, and these ladies have the guts to show it, going out of their comfort zones. Indeed, No stage is smaller and bigger for them, they always give you their best performances. I will never regret “stanning” these wonderful and talented ladies, I even cried more, that these siblings showed their humility and gratefulness. They went to Korea without anything, just their strong determination, hope in their hearts and their dreams inside their pockets, then accepting defeat with their heads up, so gracefully. Their resiliency to go on, re-build, stand up and more importantly, TO DREAM AGAIN, and AGAIN and AGAIN. To Almira, Irene, Mylene, Celina, I am sure that there will be more new stages to come, more amazing, more beautiful, bigger, better, brighter stages, just like your Dreams, so we’ll see you on your next stage!
