I thought I knew that Northern Ireland did NOT have its own National Flag, and used either the UKs Union Jack or, if the royal occasion called for it, the UK Royal Standard. So when I saw a Flag of Northern Ireland up for auction on eBay, I thought about contacting the seller about it. But, I decided to double-check my memory first. Im glad I did. While it turns out that while Northern Ireland currently does not have its own National Flag, at one time it used to. As near as I can tell, the seller on eBays Flag is actually an Ulster Banner which was used as that countrys National Flag from 1953 to 1972. Judging by the four pictures that are included as part of the Flags description, Id guess that the nylon Flag was made in the United States by either the Eder Flag Company or the C.F. Flag Company.
