I thought I really did something the other day when I used duck tape to cover up something that needed more attention than that. I felt so proud I ran out to the dollar store to purchase a fresh roll of black duct. In any event I proceeded to apply duct tape liberally as I saw fit without considering my logical mind which by that time was saying in the tone that one uses when trying to capture the attention of a mental patient off his meds,What are you doing?. I was literally on a roll. Several hours had passed and I heard a that single crack that one hears just before something gives way completely. Of course I ignored it. The next crack I heard was the one that cause everything to collapse. I believe the duct tape allowed everything fall neatly in the corner. The duct tape did its job - it was that cheap plastic thing that didnt hold! Nothing was damaged, It was just some books that fell. The incident simply served as a reminder about THE FOUNDATIONS. A foundations is a support structure - it cant be weak or taped together - it must be solid - like the Rock of Ages.
