I thought I was dieing and going home, I was done. For the last 3 weeks God has blessed my business, and still is. But I want to tell you all about an experience I had Friday of last week. I came home after a long job, like lost 10 lbs. Well I had dinner and was talking to my wife Alma and my son Jonathan, when all the sudden I became very light headed, and then became ill. I was falling to the trash in the kitchen and lost my dinner and then passed out, first time ever in my life. When I came to Jonathan was yelling call 911 and I had lost control of my bladder, very embarrassing. I was sure I had a heart attack or something just as bad. Jonathan was trying to help me get back to my knees and to the trash as I was trying to regain consciousness, Dogs where barking all kinds of things going on around me. But I want you to know in that moment all I could think of was Jesus, then as I set on the floor I said Lord forgive me for all my stupid stuff I have done, the things I think is important and aren’t, my mistakes, I am sorry for my sins and disappointments. I am ready to come home and be with You, But I would like to stay and finish what you showed me to do when You saved me, But I would like my grand children to know me, if that is ok with you. EMS and fire department showed up strapped me up to wires, and poking me. Shaving my chest, let me tell you its bugging the tar out of me today. My heart rate was 20 beats per minute. You can not live at 20 beats per minute I know that. Next thing I know I’m in the ambulance heading to hospital or the ER, and when I get there IVs and EKGs and blood work, After all that for 5 hours I found out my heart is in good shape, no stroke it was heat exhaustion, and dehydration. So the rest of the weekend and until tomorrow I am taking it easy and drinking lots of every thing and so on. Now I am telling you this because in that moment when you believe that you are going home, how wonderful it feels today to know in your heart you can say Lord I am ready to come home, I am willing if you are ready. It brings a new peace to your heat and brings you to a place that you know what is the most important thing, and things in your life. Thank you Jesus for a new perspective and setting my feet on the striate and narrow, my direction is sure in my heart. Ps. People drink plenty of water when you are hot.
