I thought I would share why this Armenia trip is so important to me and why I think it is a good idea for you to be involved. Please prayerfully consider your role in this adventure. Blessings... Inside Out Global is a beautiful organization that uses the tool of filmmaking to allow young people to share their stories and discover their gifts and strengths through creative arts. As most of you know, I am passionate about filmmaking. I am passionate about stories and I am most passionate about my relationship with Jesus Christ. In my own professional journey, I did not have the opportunity to go to school or acquire a formal education in the creative arts. I have primarily had to teach myself the skills that I have needed. I can’t tell you how much it meant to me, the times that someone who I respected or who had mastered a skill that I was looking to develop took the time to sit down with me for an extended amount of time or even for just a few moments. It was as if someone not only valued me, but valued what I was trying to do. To tell stories that would educate, that would entertain and most importantly to tell stories that would share the truth of God’s love for each one of us. That is the reason that I am so excited to participate with Inside Out Global this summer in Armenia. I, for the first time, have the opportunity to share my time, my skill, and my heart in an environment where there are truly no restrictions. A creative environment where we can speak and share freely about the trials and triumphs of life and then create something to share that story with the rest of the world. Young people who are not even aware that they have a voice are about to speak to a global community and share what is on their heart. They will work with a small group and for possibly the first time know what it means to not only be counted on, but to truly succeed. In this environment, my prayer is simply that GOD would be revealed as the creator and author of each of these stories. That through the relationships that we will build over 14 days, GOD is exposed through each interaction, that HE is sought as the provider of each of our needs and that HE is celebrated as the giver of every moment and success. I am still looking for partners in this adventure. The financial goal is $3.500.00 and I am humbled at what has been committed at this point. We are getting closer each day. If you are able, I would again ask for your consideration and your gift. The spiritual goal is that God is revealed and that lives are changed through this unique opportunity. I am grateful for your time in reading this letter and your prayerful consideration.
