I thought I would update you all on my recovery after surgery for a torn rotator cuff. I was told it would be painful. But I didnt expect it to be this bad. After 3 weeks of pain, I just felt like something wasnt right. The day of surgery I was given a drug that Im allergic too. This is well documented and has been on my records for years. But the doctor that put me to sleep apparently thought he was God. He also did a block to the shoulder that didnt work. Ive been in so much pain, I couldnt deal with it. Just yesterday they decided a nerve may have been damaged by the block in my neck. Which is the biggest cause of the pain. So Im on another medication for that. I do feel better today other than being groggy. Im hoping this one will get things moving in the right direction. I hope to be here more than I have been.
