I thought Id share a somewhat unconventional project with you. We just releases the first episode of our no budget unscripted web series. It was the last thing i worked on in Austria, before i moved to Liverpool (id like to be in London, but rent you know...) Your likes, subscriptions and shares are very much welcome, but detailed feedback and comments is what I would really appreciate. The project is an exercise in storytelling with no preparation at all - we went from concept straight to shooting without any development or pre-production phase. We met, chose costumes went to a cool location and started. And except for the narration, which we recorded after we finished shooting, there was not a single line written down, no notes, no storyboard, no shot lists, and all dialogue and plot was made up on the spot. I wanted to test a theory, that a story would create itself if you gave it enough room and options to do so. while many things changed along the way, the story adapted itself to the circumstances, and a coherent story formed during the sixteen days of (non-chronological) shooting - over a period of six month, in which we created several episodes. (the first episode contains both, the first and last scene we shot for the project) We will be releasing further episodes of Ley over the next few month - working on them right now [volunteers welcome to help - especially music and vfx], so subscribe if you want to see more... thanks for watching and dont forget to comment. youtu.be/lnpZqd_MIe0 here our social links to stay in touch: Facebook: https://facebook/LEYandTKOL Twitter: https://twitter/Ley_theSeries Google+: goo.gl/rroNKh our neglected webpage: creativemonkeys.org/ BTW, I am looking for a smart, humorous and somewhat nerdy counterpart - my producer/exec. producer and partner in creation. Preferable from the UK (Liverpool). As you can see, i like to do things a little bit differently, but i do know how to do them right (i can see what is really good and not, even in my own work). For me, it is not about the money, (or fame); money, for me, is just budget and the more we have of that, the grander it is what we can create. I like being independent, and i dont really mind working with a little less budget. I think it makes you put more work and thought into what you create. What i need, is a grounding wire. a doer, a nerdy geek with a great sense of humor and a big heart, but with an analytic, systematic and organized mind. a producer/exec. producer. with good networking/research skills and a knack for business. i can do a whole lot, have tons of fantastic ideas, but i need someone to balance me out. Sure, if you got money to invest, that is a great bonus, but not what it is about. Its about that same kind of crazy you need to find in the yang to your yin. The Chewbacca to my Han, the Kay to my Jay, the Ringo to my John.
