I thought about my father this morning. He was a fearless man who had a sharp business mind and a vision to be a great entrepreneur for himself and his family. The more I think of it is the more I see the likeness between us. He had a great sense of humour and a sharp wit that cut like a knife. He walked tall and proud always in his well ironed cotton shirt, slim blue jeans and shoes that were so shine you could see yourself in them. He wanted to make something of himself and to leave something behind for his children to hold on to. He believed it was the Simms Legacy to be ambitious, strong, smart and resourceful. Nothing should get us down. Focus on the solution not the problem. Get it done and if it doesnt work try again with a new approach because you learned something from the last experience. Never give up! Fight till the end. I wish every male knew their father the way I knew mine because today they would be saying the very thing that Ive been saying since the day he died - I AM BECOMING MY FATHER.
